Tam Peters of Midlothian Pool League has again invited Arbroath's A Team to a 15's event on Saturday 6th November 2010 at the Bonnyrigg Sports Bar. Cost is £200 per team (about £13 per player) and the prize money is estimated as £900 for the winner, £500 for the Runners-Up. Format is one group of 7 teams with top four going onto semis. This month also sees the SPA Super 15's (Ayr) and the B Event (Petticur Bay) and this is an ideal opportunity for the A team (and B guys) to win some cash and stake their claims for those other events. Teams are as follows :- 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) Each match will be played on two tables and all teams will play two ties on each table for fairness. Matches will be played out completely as frames will count if teams cannot be separated on points. If teams are level on points and frames then the result between the two teams will decide who goes through. The semi-finals will be 1st versus 4th and 2nd versus 3rd. Dress code is polo shirt, dress trousers and shoes. | |||
