It is Arbroath's turn to host this event and this year it will be held on Saturday 5th December in the Portcullis Bar. Entry Fee is only £5 and entries can either be taken in advance or paid on the day. There will be 4 tables in use, primarily the 2 recently recovered tables in the Games Room but also 2 identical tables, one of which will also be placed in the Games Room whilst the other will be set-up in the Function Suite. Rules will be Blackball with the option of the 1 minute rule. Format is best of 5 frames to begin with and as the competition progresses the usual Flyer will be held. It is hoped our playing friends from surrounding areas, particularly Dundee, Montrose, Brechin, Forfar, Carnoustie etc can make the short journey to Arbroath for this event. Prize money is, as always, dependant on total entries but it is hoped will be minimum £150 to the winner. | |||
