Draw for the 2 local qualifiers is as follows :- First Round Colin Brown (bye) Match 1 - Graham Dunbar beat Steve Webster by 6-3 Match 2 - Scott MacEwan lost to Paddy Nicoll by 6-0 Match 3 - Michael Bastow lost to Garry Mitchell by 6-2 Greg Alexander (bye) Jimmy Balfour (bye) Match 4 - Jonathon Cargill received w/o from Gareth Ruxton Match 5 - Roy Middleton lost to Steve Hamilton by 6-4 Second Round Colin Brown beat Graham Dunbar by 6-1 Gary Mitchell gave w/o to Paddy Nicoll Greg Alexander recieved w/o from Jimmy Balfour Jonathon Cargill lost to Steve Hamilton by 6-1 Colin Brown beat Paddy Nicoll by 6-3 Greg Alexander beat Steve Hamilton by 6-3.
